Regular caramel apples are a messy pain to make at home. These mini caramel apple grape poppers are super easy to make and the perfect boozy treat to bring to a festive Fall party.
You can also make these without alcohol – which is what I did when I brought them in at work!
What You Need
for caramel apple grape poppers
- Green, seedless grapes
- A pack of caramel bits (I like the Kraft caramel balls because they come unwrapped)
- Crushed peanuts (or walnuts, toffee bits, sprinkles, chocolate chips, whatever else you like!)
- Toothpicks
- MAKE EM BOOZY: Caramel Vodka
What To Do
- Soak grapes in caramel vodka and refrigerate for an hour *skip this step if you want booze-free*
- Take them out, drain and dry with paper towels
- Poke the grapes with the toothpicks and set aside
- In a small sauce pan, melt the caramel bites on medium/low heat
- Stir until the caramel is melted, then reduce to low heat
- Dip the grapes in the caramel, then into the crushed peanuts
- Place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, then pop them into fridge to set until you are ready to serve
ENJOY!! and tag me in pics if you make them! 🙂
