Paperless Postcards: Tulum

What To Wear:

Go for an effortless chic vibe. Think flowy, crochet, cut-outs, high slits, off-the-shoulder. For shoes, stick to low sandals or platform/wedges.  I wore chunky/thick heels, but I wouldn’t bring any skinny heels because you’re either in sand or walking on like gravel, just skip the heels.  Pack: swimsuits (duh), a few coverups for during the day, dresses or skirts for night/going out, sunglasses, floppy hats, straw/beach bags, sandals, wedges.

Outfit Deets:
Green floral set (pretty little thing)
Red strappy one-piece (pretty little thing)

What To Stay:

How we got to Tulum:

We flew into Cancun and from there, we got a shuttle service to our AirBNB. We used Happy Shuttle and paid online, in-advance and it was not too expensive. It’s about a 90 minute ride to Tulum from the airport.

There are two main areas that we were at in Tulum:

The Beach: fine dining + trendy restaurants, little shops & high end shopping, yoga studios, retreats, spas. party scene is beach clubs

Aldea Zuma: quieter, upscale neighborhood, easy taxi ride to the beach, not a ton of hotels/restaurants – mostly under construction, house parties

**there’s also a downtown area, but we didn’t go – I’m pretty sure it has more clubs and restaurants
