Hi babes! Hope you are all doing well and still surviving quarantine. A lot of people ask what I do with Bumble and in short, my role is to plan local events in Columbus to bring the community together while raising brand awareness for Bumble.  Obviously we can’t do any events IRL with everything going on (thx corona), but I wanted to find a way to still have digital events.

Sooo instead, I did a week of IG Lives with some of my favorite local boss babes including: Ellen from Vamp (cutest clothes, you can shop it here), a workout with Lindsey from System of Strength, a mini cooking class with Hummusapien (her blog has so many good recipes) and cocktails with Cuffed by Nano. Although going live used to give me a little bit of anxiety, this week forced my to get out of my comfort zone and tbh it was pretty fun. Huge thank you to any of you who tuned in during the live – ILYSM!

Anyways, I’ve been getting a few DMs about the prosecco margaritas I made with Nano, so I’m leaving the recipe I used below:

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • coarse salt for rimming glasses
  • 1.5 oz blanco tequila (I used JAJA)
  • 2 oz lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1/2 oz triple sec (I used a mini bottle of Cointreau, but other brands are fine)
  • 4 oz prosecco (I used La Marca)

optional:

  • slices of jalapeno peppers to make it spicy
  • 1/2 tsp agave syrup or honey to sweeten

HOW TO MAKE IT:

  1. squeeze lime juice & set aside
  2. use the squeezed lime to moisten the rim of a glass then place it upside-down on a salt-covered plate, turning the glass until the rim is coated in salt
  3.  add tequila, lime juice and triple sec into an ice-filled cocktail shaker & shake it up *** (to sweeten: add agave or honey or make it spicy: muddle jalapeño slices at the bottom of the shaker) ***
  4. pour into your salt-rimmed glass and top it off with the prosecco
  5.  garnish with lime slices or jalapeño slices
