I recently tried out Luxe and Lemons, which is a healthy meal prep/delivery service that is local to Columbus, Ohio. If you are from the area, I highly recommend trying them out if you are looking for help with healthy meal planning + prepping. It’s such a time-saver and it makes eating healthy that much easier.
If I had to pick my favorite item from them, it would definitely be the Blue Dream Smoothie. It was quick and easy to make (mostly because they had all the ingredients prepped for me lolll). Anyways, I wanted to share what was in the smoothie, so that you can recreate it at home.
Ingredients to make one smoothie (I’m not the bestttt with measurements so I’m kind of taking some educated guesses)
- 8oz of almond milk
- 1 banana
- blue spirulina powder mixed with protein powder (I would say about 2 teaspoons of each)
- cashew butter (about a tablespoon)
- a handful of cocoa nibs
- a handful of cookie dough pieces (make sure to get the edible kind, try a vegan one)
- ice
What to do: blend up the almond milk, banana, spirulina protein mix, cashew butter, cocoa nibs and ice in the blender. Top it off with cookie dough pieces and enjoy!

Oh my gosh YUM! I absolutely love spirulina but haven’t tried it in a blue powder before! It looks delicious!
